St. Williams Nursery & Ecology Centre is currently accepting stock orders via email for quantities exceeding our minimum order requirements. Beginning on May 3rd, pick-up times are available on Fridays & Saturdays for pre-placed orders. Plus, plug & bare root orders can be shipped weekly on Tuesdays.

1. Place your order:

All orders must be placed ahead of time and a pick-up or shipment date booked in advance. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate walk-in customers due to order volumes during our busy season.

Our current availability and prices can be found here. Please send e-mail sales@stwilliamsnursery.com with your list of species, sizes, and quantities.

2. Pick-up your order:

Starting May 3rd, order pick-ups can be booked during the following hours:

  • Fridays 8am – 6pm (May till Fall)
  • Saturdays 7am – 12pm (May only)

Please note – We will be closed for pick-ups on May 18th.

Tree & shrub plugs and bare root stock are available for pick up starting May 3rd till May 25th. Potted stock will be available for pick up May 3rd through till late Fall. Herbaceous stock will be available for pick up starting May 10th through till late Fall.

3. Or have your order shipped:

Mail order shipments are sent out Tuesday of every week. However, please note that only plug and bare root orders may be mailed. Potted stock must be picked up.

Tree / shrub plugs and bare root orders can be shipped starting April 30th until May 28th. Herbaceous plugs can be shipped as of May 7th.

Please note our minimum order policy*

Currently, we can accommodate orders of at least $500 that must also meet the following requirements:

  • Herbaceous plugs must be ordered by the half tray (multiples of 36) per species
  • Woody plugs & bare root must be ordered in multiples of 10 per species
  • Potted stock in 4 inch to 1-3 gal pots have a minimum order of 5 per species

*A note to our loyal customers:

Setting a minimum order policy was not an easy decision. Practically, we’ve found that operating as a small-order retailer has presented significant challenges to our conservation business. As a result, St. Williams Nursery is now focusing on wholesale stock production for large scale ecological restoration and biodiversity conservation. Still, we very much want to support biodiversity restoration needs of all kinds, shapes, and sizes; therefore, we’re continuously building relationships with local Ontario retailers to supply more St. Williams native plants directly to you.
